"No restrictions" gets used loosely. Here is what it means on Ablate: the site adds no filter on themes, subjects or style, so adult, dark, violent and strange ideas are not refused by the site itself.
What is open
- Adult themes between fictional adults.
- Horror, gore, dark fantasy and violent scenes in an artistic setting.
- Any art style, from photoreal to pixel art.
- Long, unusual or very specific prompts.
What is not
Two things stay blocked on every model: sexual content involving anyone under 18 (including drawn, anime and "fictional" characters), and sexual content of real, identifiable people. Sexual edits of uploaded photos are blocked too, because an upload cannot be checked.
No honest generator offers true anything-goes. These limits are illegal almost everywhere, and every image provider bans them. A site that claims otherwise is either lying or about to be shut down.
The model still matters
Each model is run by a provider with its own rules. Some models are flagged by their host as able to render mature themes. Others have a looser filter than mainstream tools. Results differ by model, so if one refuses a prompt, try another. The model guide says which is which.

Does the site log or judge my prompts?
Prompts are checked against the two blocks above and nothing else. Blocked attempts are counted so the filter can be tightened, without keeping the prompt text.
Why are there any limits at all?
Because the two blocked categories are illegal and cause real harm, and no payment processor or provider will work with a site that allows them.
