Stable Diffusion models are open, which is why most uncensored image tools are built on them. Ablate runs SDXL finetunes for you, so there is no install and no GPU.
Which models
Fluently XL and DreamShaper XL are fast SDXL finetunes at the low end of the price range. Larger Flux based models cost more and handle fine detail better.
Online or local
Local ComfyUI or Automatic1111 gives full control of samplers, LoRAs and extensions, at the cost of a capable GPU and setup time. Online is quicker and starts at $0.010 an image. See the comparison.
Prompting SDXL
- Natural sentences work, but lists of descriptive words work too.
- Describe composition, light and style.
- Keep sizes to the ones offered so the model is not stretched.
